Robin's Dockside Shop is strictly an on-line store and does not operate out of a retail location. Our line of nautical brass items are the finest we can procure.   Most of our nautical brass items are hand machined and made in India by skilled craftsmen.   However, our newer line of items are made in China and England and are of a very high quality.

All of our brass and copper items are of solid brass and copper.   There are no cheap tinplate items in our inventory that tarnish easily and cannot be re-polished.   We use a polishing compound that coats the brass and copper to a high luster and leaves a coating that prevents tarnish for several months. 

 

We take great pride in each piece that we have on our shelves and we do our utmost to provide our customers with the highest level of service that we can.   We treat each customer as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Engraving:

Robin's Dockside Shop now offers engraving in many different styles and types.

We are affiliated with a small local shop that can engrave almost any of our brass and copper items as well as many sizes of brass or aluminum name plates and plaques. Their prices are VERY reasonable, their service is excellent.

Standard charge for an engraved brass plaque is .45 per letter + $3.00 for brass plaque.  Plaques are available in polished brass, black brass and silver-tone.

Some items can have direct engraving on them without a plaque, such as bells and flat compasses.

 

If you need an item engraved for a gift or presentation, give us a call and we will arrange it for you with a very fast turn-around.

Engraving font and plaque sizes will be available on-line soon.

 

Shipping:
ALL orders are shipped the SAME DAY they are received and are shipped via UPS-Ground or USPS-Priority Mail with 2-Day delivery (including Saturdays) to anyplace in the continental USA.

Some local orders are hand delivered in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

All of our items are shipped in double boxes.  Many items are packaged in either a white or craft box that is suitable for wrapping for gift giving.  That box then is packed in a shipping box and packaged carefully against breakage.   Should an item arrive broken, please contact Robin's Dockside Shop at once.  We ship most packages USPS Priority Mail and the contents are insured for the value of each item.  Larger items are shipped via UPS-Ground unless otherwise specified.

 

PLEASE allow at least 7 - 10 business days for delivery of SOME ITEMS as we have to get them from our warehouse in California.  But we generally stock about 90% of items in Baltimore and ship immediately and you shall receive those we send from Baltimore in 2-3 days.

 

When we ship an item an e-mail is generated informing the customer of the date of shipment, the date of expected delivery and the tracking number.   Therefore, you always know where your shipment is and when it is due to arrive at your door.  Again, PLEASE allow at least 7 - 10 business days for delivery of some items, though your order MAY arrive sooner than that.

Free Shipping:   

We offer Free Shipping on all orders over $150.00 within the United States ONLY with the exception of the original works of art by Harve de Grace artist Liz Arango-Howshall.

Overseas customers PLEASE expect a call or E-Mail from us regarding extra shipping charges.  If PayPal charges you shipping when you should not have been charged, you will be refunded that shipping charge back to your credit card or in the form of a cashier's check that will be included in the box with your order.

Returns:

Robin's Dockside Ship warrants each item to perform as expected and to have the appearance and luster that it appears to have on our site or in our store.   If you are not happy with the item, please contact us for an RMA number for return. 

 

Robin's Dockside Shop is primarily concerned with customer satisfaction.  If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a full refund, minus the shipping cost (if any)  Due to the shipping times and distances, some allowances have been made concerning returns.  Therefore, you have 10 days from the date you received the item to return it to us for a full refund.   Your refund will be returned to your Credit Card or bank card or sent to you in the form of a cashier's check.  Please allow 15 days from the date of the return for that check to be mailed out to you.  Larger orders above $150.00 are subject to a 10% restocking fee or the cost of the items.

 

Disclaimer:

 

Robin's Dockside Shop does not make nor manufacture any of the items that we sell in our store.  Therefore, we are to be held harmless of any liability due to any damage or injury caused by any of the items that we sell.  Also, un-coated brass items should NEVER be used to drink out of or to place food in.  Brass table items are for decoration ONLY and NOT as food or beverage utensils unless coated with a stable lacquer or poly finishing coat.
