Hello again to our
fellow nautical
enthusiasts
worldwide.
Welcome to our
End of Summer
Newsletter for
2011. This
being our third
newsletter for
2011, we want to
introduce you to
some new items
added to our
nautical shop
and ship's
chandlery.

left. We
have three new
floor model
telescopes very
similar to this
one. Click on

you will see

This has been a
very interesting
summer on the
East Coast for
most of us. We
just had our
first hurricane
in many years as
most of you know,
and although it
did not do a lot
of wind damage
the flooding has
been really bad
in many places.
But, we survived
and now it is
Labor Day
Weekend and
summer is coming
to a close.
No
problem, just grab a
tankard of your
favorite rum on
ice
or a cold beer and wander
through our
humble shop. We
are certain you
will like all of
our new items
and enjoy the
old standards as
well.

New Line of
Nautical Lamps
We have called folks
and suppliers all
over the globe to
find some new and
interesting things.
Everyone likes
something new and we
are the same.
In our search we
have located some
really nice items
for your home or
boat or cottage by
the water. The first
is our new Cape
Hatteras Lighthouse
Table Lamp. This
fine lamp rivals
many other table lamps in
that the shade has a
seascape printed on
the inside that
comes alive only
when the lamp is
lit. The model
ship lamps are
really exquisite
pieces with great
detail in their
assembly and
manufacture.
We even came up with
our own hand
assembled Pirate
Captain Table Lamp.
This is an exclusive
only at Robin's
Dockside Shop as we
make it ourselves
using one of our
poly-stone pirate
figurines on a
hardwood base.
What a fine lamp for
a child's pirate
decorated room. We love
lamps at

the Marathon
Pirate Festival
in upstate New
York in June.
The festival was
a huge success.
Everyone had a
blast, even now
they are clamoring
for us to hold
another one next
year.
Look
for it in
mid-July, 2011.
We will post
information as
it becomes
available.
Our two
actors
Vince Lozano and
Treva
Etienne
from
the original
Pirates of
the
Caribbean
TM
movie,
"The
Curse of the
Black Pearl"
were with us
and added a
great deal to
the overall
scene.
Many bands and
pirate crews
came from all
over the East
Coast to this
tiny town in
Upstate, New
York for the
weekend.
So, if you live
within driving
distance of
Marathon, NY be
prepared next
July to
"Come Out" -
"Bring some
rum" -
"Bring the
children" -
"Bring some
shillings"
and have a pirate
ball. |

Knot Board
Displays
Everyone
loves a knot
board
display.
Nothing
could
possibly be
more
nautical
than hand
tied knots
and half
hull ships
and little
life rings,
etc. all
displayed on
a dark
background
under glass.
Some of our
displays
have small
weather
instruments
that enhance
their
usefulness
and make
them even
more
nautical.
Ours are
very
reasonably
priced, so
get one
while you
can.
We have been
told that
they will
not be
available
much longer. |

We tried that and it
seemed to just be a
waste of our money.
We got many calls
from pranksters and
others who just
called to see if the
number was real or
something. The
phone bill was much
to high to justify
the expense. Maybe
we will try it again
in the future.
But for most of us
our cell phones can
call any US number
for free anyway so
really toll free
Numbers are a fading
thing.
However, if you
would like to cast a
vote for us getting
a new toll tree
Number, please do
so by responding to
this e-mail in
writing or just
call us. We
will note the number
of requests and make
a decision
accordingly.
