Pirates Cove Candle Lantern
A simple style of
lantern that would most likely have been used when sailors
went ashore and set up a camp at night.
Most N. American pirates
and privateers lived in camps or small protected settlements
along the Carolina and Florida cost in the early 1700's.
Their towns and camps would certainly have used lamps
similar to this.
